Tour 01: Amritsar Village Tour
Drive out of the city for one and a half hours, towards a small village and experience the life in rural Punjab with this village tour. This village tour offers a fascinating opportunity to know the life of a farmer and the great way to soak in the feel of Punjabi village life. It will take you through the rich and traditional villages of Amritsar. On the way you will see fields, orchards, tractors, trucks, rural markets selling farm crops etc. Visit a local family house, where you will be welcomed with a traditional drink Lassi. You will also get to participates in their daily life like milking cows, farm tractor ride, cooking on traditional clay oven and see common farming practices.
Afternoon enjoy the delicious traditional food like Sarson da saag, makki di roti made by local family member on a clay oven(if time permits)
We will take a tractor ride through the beautiful fields and see the seasonal crops growing. This tour will finish with Lunch or tea/snacks with local family. This village tour will be a lifetime experience and later drive back to your hotel for a well-deserved and satisfying sleep with the memories of Punjabi villagers life.

Tour 02: Amritsar Heritage Walking Tours / 04-05 hrs
Amritsar town is well known for its heritage buildings and Adventure People India offer some unique heritages walks in the town. Heritage walk is a guided tour deep inside the narrow lanes and Bye lanes of the 400 year old city of Amritsar. One gets to see Katras, Akharas Bungas, Havelis,and Hatties. The walk takes you back in the time as you witness town planning traditional trade and crafts being practiced in the same place and in the same manner as have been done for centuries.
There are many points where the walk takes a traveller, starting from the Town Hall and ending at the iconic Golden Temple and also explored lanes and by-lanes which were not even a part of the walk.
Here is a list of some specific points:
Town Hall - built by the British in 1866, the historic Town Hall is the centre of the Amritsar's local administration
Gurdwara Saragarahi - this is dedicated to he the twenty one soldiers of the 36 Sikh Battalion who lost their lives bravely defending their posts on Spetember 12, 1897
Qila Ahluwalia - the fort once belonged to Ahluwalia Misl whose famous leader Jassa Singh Ahluwalia played crucial role in repelling foreign invasions during the 18th Century
Jalebiwala Chowk - located in the heart of Amritsar's commercial sector, it is a gastronome's delight
Udasin Ashram Akhara Sangalwala - founded in 1771, it was originally known as Nirban Akhara after its founder
Chitta Akhara - it is also known as Ganga raam Akhara after its founder Mahant Ganga Raam and it was established in 1781
Darshani Deori - this marks the spot from where Sri Guru Arjun and Sri Guru Hargobind would stand to view the Golden Temple
Baba Bohar - in the middle of the road neat the end of the Bartan Bazaar, they is a large banyan tree which is considered scared
Thakurdwara Dariana Mal - entering the courtyard of the Thakurdwara is like stepping back in time, shedding light on the beautiful colonial style architecture that has influenced much of downtown Amritsar
Chowrasti Atari - Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib, the sixth of the ten Gurus, built the Chowrasti Atari complesin the 1600s, with four passages and thirty-two shops
Taksal (mint) - located in Katra Hari Singh, this is Amritsar;s first mint, where Sikh regime coins were once minted
Thakurdwara Raja Tej Singh - it was built in Katra Jamadar in 1851 by Raja Tej Singh
Crawling Street - this marks Jallianwala Baug shootout which killed hundreds of Sikhs on orders of General Dyer
Ancient Passage - this ancient passage is a typical archway between various mohallas and katras of old Amritsar, established by Sikh Misls
The best way to end the walk is at the Golden Temple - India's sacred heart.

Tour 03: Amritsar Food Walking Tours / 05 hrs
Amritsar is famous for its delicious food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Some of Amritsar's favourite food items are puri-chhole, Amritsari fish, chicken or mutton chaap, golgappa, aam papad, jalebi, gulab jumun, gud halwa, and lassi. There are many restaurants serving authentic local food with utmost culinary expertise that will please your taste buds. But the real fun resides in the street food joints and their colorful dishes and beverages.
Kulcha : There are many Dhabas at Amritsar who serve Kulcha but the best place for ‘Kulcha’ in the city is Kulwant’s Shop/Dhaba.
Jalabies : Walk further to Gurdass Ram Jalibian wala, who serve best Jalebi made in Desi Ghee( Purified Butter).
Chholey Poori : Move ahead to Narayan Poorian’s Shop to taste the Chhole-Poori, which is one of the favorite dish in Amritsar.
Lunch at Kesar da Dhaba : After tasting the many popular food items in this walk, we go to Kesar the Dhaba Restaurant to have proper Lunch. Here you can have some delicious local dishes in Lunch.
