Detail Itinerary :

Day 01) Manali - Khanol (2700m) - Chikka (3200 m) / 1.5  hrs drive + 05 km trek / 03-04 hrs

After  breakfast in Manali, board a Car for Khanol, the last village by road via Jagatsukh village. Reach Khanol in 1.5 hours. The trek starts from Khanol and follows a gradual ascend through thick pine forest which opens at Chikka, our campsite for the day, which boasts of a Nag Mandir.

Day 02) Chikka- Seri- (3600 m) / 06 km / 04-05 hrs

Today we trek along the bank of Jagatsukh river and then enter the thick forests giving way to boulders and carpet of wild flowers. With increasing elevation and declining tree line we are introduced to the meadows of Seri which was once a glacial lake. The camping site has many small and big streams along with Tainta waterfall in the background.

Day 03) Seri- Tainta (3900 m) 05 km/ 04-05 hrs

The day starts with easy walking across the flat section of the meadow followed by stream crossing which is the grub to Jagatsukh Nala. The trail now consists of steep climb through the boulders and leads to the moraines field. This is the campsite for today which offers the view of Deo Tibba, which was not visible until now. Today we will get ample time to relax and acclimatise ourselves for the next day.

Day 04) Tainta- Mini Chandratal  base of Deo Tibba(4480 m)- Tainta / 10 km / 06-07 hrs

Now it is time to go to Base of Dev Tibba (4480m, Dev Tibba is at 6001m). Today we start early with our packed lunches and leaving behind our backpacks. We trek through the stretch of moraines. All this while Deo Tibba stays in your view standing in its majestic glory. After a steep climb we get to see the high altitude lake with emerald blue water. After spending sometime time at mini-Chandratal we return to our campsite at Tainta.

Day 05) Tainta- Chikka / 11 km / 04-05 Hrs drive

We will retrace our way back to Chikka through the meadows of Seri. We halt at Dudu Pathar for lunch.

Day 06) Chikka- Jagatsukh-Manali / 04-05 Hrs drive

Today we trek back to Khanol, where we board the vehicle which will drive us to Manali. Expect to reach Manali late in the afternoon.
